I’ve always believed that one person can help make a difference, one action and one thought. I thought that I could help change people’s lives, and with a little time and experience, I’ve been able to do so. I’m not rich, I’m a regular woman, who works a regular job, but doesn’t see the world for what it is, but for what it can be. Healing Hand is my own way of creating a positive change. I hope that this inspires you to do the same, in any way you can.

“The world is a stage and everyone has a role to play” I chose to work for Healing Hand because I believe in their leadership ideologies, vision and the ability to articulate the views and concerns of deprived children. By giving them a voice and hope through their future focus programs. Today there is something good to write home about that gears towards creating a sustainable system where children can feel a sense of belonging, where they feel empowered, strengthened and challenged to create a better beginning through the provision of free quality education for all: irrespective of race, sex, age, religion or background.

I chose to be a part of Healing Hand because I wanted to be a part of the change I personally had been longing to see within my community and country. Healing Hand was a great step toward that change and I jumped at the chance to be a key part within the organisation. I find it incredible that someone from another country come into Sierra Leone to help my brothers and sisters with their education and development. I think we should embrace her ideology and all be a part of that change.
